Four years ago Telegenix changed from traditional batch mode manufacturing to continuous flow manufacturing (one piece flow) with cellular work centers. The continuous flow manufacturing adopts a pull system instead of a push system, using lean manufacturing techniques, in a high mix contract manufacturing environment. By the use of Kaizen teams, improvements are listed below:
