Open Payments Notice

The federal Open Payments program is a public transparency program administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”). Open Payments makes information available about certain payments and other transfers of value that drug, medical device, biological, and medical supply manufacturers and group purchasing organizations report to CMS regarding physicians, certain non-physician practitioners, and teaching hospitals.

The Open Payments database is maintained by CMS and may be used by the public to search for certain financial relationships between applicable manufacturers or group purchasing organizations and healthcare providers or teaching hospitals.
